The Perfect Los Angeles Tour with Hollywood Walk of Fame

Perfect Los Angeles Tour Blog

As I walked down  Hollywood Blvd where the walk of fame is I went by the Manns Chinese theater. I stopped to look at the amazing, somewhat breathtaking view of the  Chinese theater. I usually take these things for granted, but today the meticulous architecture design of the chinese theater sucked me into another world. It felt as if, I was looking into a glimpse of China and what a more regal Chinese theater would look like. My eyes were drawn to  the dark brown wood of the building and  moved to  the bright red roof.  I noticed something about the architecture   that pulled me back into reality.

The Manns Chinese Theater offers an IMAX experience, something that certainly wasn’t offered when it was opened in the mid 20th century, but reminded me that even a place as magnificent as the Chinese theater gets sucked into innovation if they don’t want to become a relic of the past.

I continued on down to see street performers in costumes, whether it be Jack Sparrow or Bumble bee and asking people for cash to take a picture with them. I advise against giving any stranger asking for a picture cash. It’s a good rule of thumb.

After the Chinese Theater I walked by Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum focuses less on the aesthetics of their building and more on capturing your eye with their wax creations of Hollywood celebrities that will draw you in wanting to see more.

Between you and me, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum nor the Manns Chinese Theater is the real story to tell  on the Hollywood walk of game

To me, the story wherever I go isn’t on the surface like you see, nor is it below my feet in this case where the Hollywood walk of fame stars are.

The story to me are the people and that is what’s most important to me. That resonates with Dave,  a tour guide for 36 years who works tirelessly every single day to ensure you will have the perfect tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and other places in greater LA when you come here.

He believes creating the perfect experience is the most important part of a tour, that endangering the structural integrity of your vehicle by cutting the top off, isn’t the safest or best experience for his customers. I’ve been down in Los Angeles and passed multiple tour buses where people are panting. They were  hot and red in the face, because it  was the hottest day of the year. Sweat was on my brow, but when I stepped into the tour bus Dave  was driving, I felt a nice breeze on my face.

His Mercedes benz tour bus and air conditioning while giving extremely precise detail to each and every building we passed, the history, and the glamour, what movie was filmed where, why certain things happened and facts I as a local didn’t even know about. I should know where the Dolby theater is, but  I leave that up to Dave as that is his specialty. He points out the Dolby theater as we pass by it.

This is a tour guide who has spent his life being far beyond anything you will find on Wikipedia, or even online about Hollywood. His knowledge far surpasses gossip rags, as he provides high quality tours and high quality information.
