Los Angeles Comic Con Blog

The Los Angeles Comic Con By Stan Lee is taking place at the Los Angeles convention center October 27th-29th, 2017. Last year there was 90 thousand attendees at the Los Angeles comic con and Stan Lee’s people report that the convention grows by 20 percent year after year, so potentially there will be over 100 thousand people at the Los Angeles comic con this year and for good reason.

Who will be at LA comic con?

Obviously Stan Lee will be there, since this is the comic con he started, but many other famous creators and actors will be there as well.

On October 28th The Rock Dwayne Johnson will be at Los Angeles comic con talking about everything he is doing that he is allowed to talk about and his upcoming movie Jumanji.

Gates Mcfadden, well known for her role as Dr. Crusher in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” in the late 80’s and 90’s will be there, but let’s not forget other film credits she has been in, like “Muppets Take Manhattan”.

If you’ve watched SuperFriends, Godzilla, Scooby Doo, and Flintstones you have seen some of Tom Cook’s animation which he started doing in 1978. He also directs plenty of TV show episodes, but to name just one is King Of The Hill.

There will be so many celebrities at the Los Angeles comic con that it’d be surprising if you didn’t love it.

Do you have disabilities? No need to worry, Stan Lee’s comic con has you covered, unlike some comic cons. They have an entire area dedicated to what they do to helping people with special needs, even including keeping refrigerated medicine in a refrigerator for you.

This isn’t in the comic con advice for people with special needs, but if you have autism, there are plenty of places you can escape to. Sometimes there are unused floors or areas you can find that are quiet if there is too much stimuli, which there will be a lot of stimuli. If you can’t find somewhere in the convention, there are restaurants and other places right across the street that you can go to.

Need a break from the approximately 35 thousand people a day who will be at the Los Angeles convention center with you? Then book a Los Angeles tour and see the sights of LA the way they’re meant to be seen while getting away from the tens of thousands of people at comic con.
